Publicis Seattle has landed its first business since Randy Browning and Kevin Kehoe became co-presidents earlier this year—the $2-5 million Washington Apple Commission account.

It was also the first pitch by the duo since they teamed together.

“It’s a gem of an account,” Kehoe said. “It’s similar to Goodby having milk [the California Milk Processor Board].”

Publicis edged Seattle finalists Cole & Weber/Red Cell; DDB; Foote, Cone & Belding; and J. Walter Thompson. Its sister agency, Optimedia International in Seattle, will handle media duties.
