Analysis: TV Land 'Hot' or Cold? (TCA Video)

With the ratings success of Hot in Cleveland, TV Land is finally on the map. The hit comedy starring Betty White returned for a second season on Jan 19, drawing 2.9 million viewers—a respectable showing, although down from the 4.8 million viewers who tuned in for the season one premiere.

Launching off of Cleveland this week was the cable network’s latest original comedy, Retired at 35, starring George Segal. As often happens with new series springboarding off of a hit series, Retired at 35 didn’t fare as well as its lead-in, drawing only 2 million viewers.
