McCann-Erickson has won the estimated $50 million advertising account for Allegra, an allergy medication made by Aventis Pharma, after a review that included Ogilvy & Mather, New York, and undisclosed agencies, sources said.

The incumbent, Leo Burnett in Chicago, did not participate, sources said.

Officials at McCann-Erickson in New York and at Aventis Pharma in Parsippany, N.J., could not be reached immediately.
