NEW YORK AKQA was named lead interactive creative agency for Coca-Cola, the client said.

The San Francisco independent agency will lead Coke’s roster of global and local shops in “creative and technical” duties, a client representative said. Coke works with several Web shops worldwide.

The win came after a review involving an undisclosed number of interactive shops. An AKQA rep confirmed the win and referred calls to the client. AKQA’s New York office will lead work on the account.
