Adweek's Top 5 Commercials of the Week: April 25-May 2

These new spots were all about overcoming obstacles. Vote for your favorite

This roundup of the week's best ads speak to the various obstacles we encounter in our lives—both the small hurdles and those that at first may seem insurmountable. The lesson here is that nothing is impossible, even if you're a dog who wants to drive a Subaru.

In our other top ads this week, an ambitious project by BBDO New York showed how the life of a child with autism can be enhanced by intervention; Nike showed us the benefits of finding the courage to risk it all; a Swedish Internet provider showed how hard it is to accomplish simple tasks when struggling with lag; and a touching Japanese spot reminded us that life continues to bring beauty even in the face of tremendous loss.

Take a look at our picks below, and help us decide which commercial deserves to be No. 1. And if your favorite isn't here, tell us in the comments.

UPDATE: Congrats to BBDO and Autism Speaks for winning in a landslide.
