The Milwaukee Protestant Home chose Curro, Rankin & Williams, Milwaukee, as agency of record. The home assists the elderly to live as independently as possible.
Faltis Marketing Communications, Milwaukee, has been chosen by Premium Plastics, Chicago, to handle trade advertising.
Madison-based Stephen & Brady was named agency of record for the agriculture and farm services division of Orkin Exterminating Co. The agency’s primary focus will be on the company’s Farm Fly control program, which will be initially promoted in 10 states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The Brady Co., Menomonee Falls, won three new pieces of business: ABB Drives Inc., New Berlin; Camtronics Medical Systems, Hartland; and Data Retrieval Corp., Milwaukee.
Wisconsin Gas Co. selected Milwaukee Direct Marketing, Waukesha, to develop its 1993 residential Wise Choice promotion. Milwaukee Direct will provide strategy, creative development and production services for this annual campaign.
OHIO
Cleveland-based FitzSimmons Advertising and Public Relations has been retained by the commercial services group of BP America to produce a brochure and other marketing materials to assist BP and its agent, CB Commercial Real Estate Services Inc., in leasing the available office space in the company’s 45-story office tower.
BSB/Leff & Squicciarini Advertising, Dublin, was named agency of record for the marketing communications efforts of the Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus. The agency will provide marketing communications support for University Hospitals and its outreach facilities including the seven MedOHIO Physician Care centers.
AirTrim selected Triangle Advertising, Springboro, as its new ad agency. Triangle will provide database management, telemarketing, collateral materials and magazine advertising.
The Glastic Corp., Cleveland, named Media II, Cleveland, its agency of record for all advertising, publicity and marketing communications support. Glastic, a subsidiary of Kobe Steel, is an international manufacturer of glass-reinforced polyester thermoset shapes and compounds.
Lord Sullivan & Yoder, Columbus, was named agency of record for Corporate Sales Micro Center.
Federal-Mogul Corp., manufacturer and distributor of OEM and aftermarket parts for automobiles, trucks, farm and construction vehicles and industrial products, named The Urda Co., Akron, as its agency of record for its worldwide aftermarket operation.
Powers Advertising and Marketing, Cleveland, was appointed agency of record for Sumitomo Plastics-Machinery. The Atlanta-based company markets a line of injection molding machines in North America and Latin America.
MINNESOTA
Chuck Ruhr Advertising, Minneapolis, has been named agency of record for MECC, a developer of educational software for children, and will handle the introduction of the new ‘DinoPark Tycoon’ program.
33 Minute Photo, which provides photo processing services in supermarkets, selected J. Patrick Moore, LaMaster, Farmer, Eden Prairie, as agency of records.
Welsh & Associates, a Minneapolis-based marketing design firm, was hired by Travelers Express, a payment transactions company, to provide creative development and execution of a direct mail and collateral campaign for the company’s official check line of business.
MICHIGAN
Berkley-based Callaghan Promotions was selected by Hurst Appliance and Ventilation of St. Clair Shores to handle national pr, marketing and new product introduction for the Envior-vent, a new home ventilation system.
Aercology Inc. selected the Grand Rapids office of Biggs/Gilmore Communications to create and implement its welding marketing and communications programs. Aercology designs and manufactures smoke and fume extraction systems for the welding industry, including both portable units and complete engineered facilities installations. Also, the agency announced that Battle Creek Equipment Co., Battle Creek, selected the firm to create and implement its advertising programs. Battle Creek manufactures a line of exercise and massage equipment, including treadmills, exercise bikes, massagers and massage tables.
INDIANA
Communico, Elkhart, was named marketing consultant and ad agency for Elkhart Plastics, a rotational molder of custom plastic products.
Indianapolis-based Caldwell VanRiper was named advertising/pr agency of record for Europeiska, an international firm specializing in worldwide travel insurance and assistance.
ILLINOIS
Grant/Jacoby, Chicago, has been selected by Brink’s Home Security, to handle media placement and pr for its entry into Chicago.
Holiday Inn Chicago City Centre appointed Imagine That! Advertising, Flossmoor, to handle collateral and media promotions.
Williams Electronics Games, a 50-year-old manufacturer of coin-operated pinball machines, novelty games and shuffle alleys, named Jordan Tamraz Caruso, Chicago, as agency of record. JTC will provide Williams with creative development and execution for product and corporate advertising, media services, and collateral and trade show support.
Telemotive Industrial Controls selected Bernard & Co., Palatine, as its new agency of record. The agency will facilitate all media placements, special brochure and catalog projects, and lead management for Telemotive.
