ABC TV Names Karin Gilford Svp of Digital Media
ABC Television Network has named Karin Gilford svp of digital media.
Gilford is a digital media veteran. Most recently, she served as svp of online media at Comcast Interactive Media. She helped manage Comcast.net and the Web video hub Fancast.com.
Prior to Comcast, Gilford was vp and general manager of Yahoo Entertainment, where she oversaw programming and business operations for Yahoo Movies, Yahoo Music, Yahoo TV, omg! and other properties.
In her new post at ABC, Gilford will focus her efforts primarily on ABC.com.
