NEW YORK Dyson has selected Publicis Groupe-backed Bartle Bogle Hegarty to handle creative chores on its estimated $50 million U.S. ad account, sources said.

BBH in New York beat out Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco for the business.

Agency officials either declined comment or could not be reached. A client representative denied a decision had been reached.

Publicis Groupe’s Fallon in Minneapolis had handled the account since 2002. The shop originally won Dyson after a review.
