4 SVPs Join Porter Novelli

Global public relations firm Porter Novelli has made the following key senior additions to its team:
 
• Joel Johnson, svp, strategic planning and research. Johnson will spearhead efforts to ensure the integration of strategic digital and social media programming into all planning efforts. He reports to Michael Ramah, partner and director of strategic planning. "Joel is a highly regarded account planner who has created marketing strategies for some of the most influential people and brands in the world," said Ramah. "Joel's tremendous ability to use all available communications avenues to deliver results for clients perfectly aligns with our guiding principle of intelligent influence." He had been managing director of Spike DDB.
 
• Jennifer Jones, svp, digital and social media. Jones is an expert in creating campaigns that unite traditional and digital media, including social media relations. During her career at agencies including Ogilvy PR, Alexander Communications, Macquarium and Fletcher Martin, she has worked with Fortune 500 brands and startups alike. She is the author of the upcoming book, Can Your Brand Come Out and Play (The Power of Social Media) and the Speak Media blog, where she tracks trends in PR, marketing and social media strategy.
 
• Jodi Fleisig, svp, media strategy and relations. She is a former network television pro with more than 20 years of experience and five Emmy Awards to her credit. Most recently, she served as a senior executive producer and
supervisor at CNN. Prior to that, she worked as a producer in New York and as assistant news director at WSB-TV in Atlanta. She also wrote for the Philadelphia Inquirer, St. Petersburg Times and Lexington Herald Leader.
 
• Judy Willis, svp, consumer practice. Prior to joining PN, she was the chief marketing officer of Merge Agency, where she developed the "CMO-for-Hire" practice for the firm, and served as the "on-the-ground" chief executive managing all day-to-day agency activities. Prior to joining Merge, Willis was president, CEO and co-founder of Bright Impact, a strategic branding firm that specialized in business-to-business marketing.
