LOS ANGELES Publicis Groupe’s Zenith Media has won media buying and planning chores on the $300 million JPMorgan Chase ad account following a review, sources said.

The New York agency prevailed over Aegis Group’s Carat, also in New York, in the final round. The review was launched following the merger of Bank One and Chase; Carat was the Bank One incumbent.

A client representative declined comment. Agency officials were not available.

Media Planning Group in New York, a unit of French holding company Havas, had competed in an earlier round.
