NEW YORK Wachovia Corp. has narrowed the field in its $145 million creative and media review, with another round of presentations scheduled for tomorrow, the bank confirmed late Thursday.

Still contending for the business are WPP Group units Young & Rubicam and Ogilvy & Mather and Omnicom Group’s Merkley + Partners, all in New York, according to a Wachovia representative.

Out of the picture is Interpublic Group’s Lowe here, which pitched creative concepts to client executives earlier in the week, along with Y&R, Ogilvy and Merkley.

Those meetings took place Tuesday and Wednesday at Wachovia’s headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.,
