NEW YORK A group of marketers under the aegis of the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals has briefed three agencies in its search for a shop to handle a new hot-tub advertising assignment.

Estimated ad spending is $10-12 million. Both creative and media duties are in play.

Hasan + Co., the Raleigh, N.C.-based consultancy managing the search, identified the contenders as The Richards Group in Dallas, Blattner Brunner in Pittsburgh and Carton Donofrio Partners in Baltimore.
