NEW YORK Volkswagen of America has narrowed the field in its $220 million creative review, a day after final presentations concluded, the client has confirmed.

Still in the running are Interpublic Group’s Deutsch/LA in Marina del Rey, Calif., and Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. Two other contenders, Omnicom’s DDB in New York and independent Wieden + Kennedy in Portland, Ore., have been eliminated.

A client representative said a final decision is expected before the end of the week.

Final presentations took place Monday and Tuesday at the client’s headquarters in Herndon, Va.,
