Time Editor Nancy Gibbs' Office Reflects a Road Well Traveled

After starting as a fact checker at Time in 1985, working her way through the ranks to become one of America's top magazine writers with over 100 cover stories and a National Magazine Award on her résumé, Nancy Gibbs in 2013 became editor of the then-90-year-old newsweekly. With Gibbs' new position came a new office. We looked around and found some striking keepsakes, including a curious framed sash. Gibbs explained, "That is a portion of a pope's miter, which was handed down from each Time Inc.
