SNL’s 40th Anniversary special last night was entertaining, if a little long. But really, it was the winter television event to end them all. According to viewers, we can just forego the Oscars. We’ve already gotten our red carpet, Kanye West, and live-tweeting fixes out of the way.
the SNL 40th anniversary special might even rival the oscars ONLY bc NSYNC is gonna be there

SNL 40 is more exciting than The Oscars. And The Oscars is like Christmas to me.

The SNL 40’s red carpet is way more important and beautiful than the poser red carpets like the Oscars and Grammys — AvaPalazzolo (@AvaPalazzolo) February 16, 2015
I’m more excited for the SNL 40th Anniversary than I am for the Superbowl, Grammys, and the Oscars combined
