The second season of Nicole Richie‘s VH1 show Candidly Nicole premieres next Wednesday. To promote the show, they’ve released a video series with social media stars The Fat Jew, Baddie Winkle, Girl with No Job, Hannah Bronfman and Jenn Im.
VH1 and Richie harnessed her webisodes and video for clips and turned it into a full show last summer. VH1 says that the video series is part of their strategy to build on the network’s “relationship with social influencers,” and that the network is “aiming to go beyond traditional engagement tactics and take collaboration with social influencers to a new level to promote the upcoming season of Candidly Nicole. The campaign is designed to highlight Nicole’s naturally funny personality in improv-style situations with social personalities whose audiences relate to Nicole’s quirky, outspoken self.”
