Last night’s Mad Men finale went out a little ambiguously, with the best use of an ad in the show’s history. Mad Men helped make AMC into the AMC we know now, and it’s always had a Twitter following. While there have been lots of reasons to complain over the years on social media about where the plot was going (like that waitress earlier this season?), last night’s series finale had people feeling good about it where it all went. It was no Sopranos. If you haven’t seen it, you might want to avoid the Internet for a while:
Dodging GoT and Madmen spoilers, tempted to not sign on facebook a few says…..sheesh guys…..

That was genius. You thought Don had found his happiness. No, he just thought of the next big idea. That’s what made him happy. #MadMen — Jamil Smith (@JamilSmith) May 18, 2015
@LauraLFTN @MadMen_AMC it was a beautiful ending, I don’t know if we will see a show like this again it was truly special

Then, there were some thoughts on alternate endings:
I think instead of Leonard (fridge speech guy) it would be been better to have it be Bob Benson. #madmen #MadMenFinale

Damn I thought Joan was going to have it all. #MadMen — Coretta Scott Key (@CorettaScottKey) May 18, 2015
I kind of want to watch the #MadMen spin-off, Better Call Leonard The Sad Fridge Guy.

And of course, there were lots of promos for new AMC shows:
Love that AMC promo: “Please don’t stop watching us once #MadMen ends, pretty please!”
