Two pretty significant trailers were released this week. One, for Netflix & Marvel’s new original series ‘Daredevil’, which I have to say, looks like it could be another Netflix hit. So keep an eye out for that this coming April. The other was the second trailer for the 5th season of Game of Thrones. Expect more battle, betrayal, bloodshed. So, it should be another incredible season.
Over the weekend there were a few notable TV clips as well. The Night of Too Many stars, a charitable event put on by Comedy Central, had an interesting segment with Paul Rudd known as ‘The Wheel of Rudd’. I won’t spoil it, but towards the end of the clip, Paul takes part in something that no human should ever consider doing… pretty gross.
AdvertisementLast Week Tonight with John Oliver kindly pointed out the absolute uselessness of Daylight Savings Time. No, it’s not for the farmers, and no, it doesn’t save energy. This guy never fails to make a valid point and open my eyes.
To cap off this week’s top 5, an interesting mashup took the internet by storm on Wednesday when a man thought it would be awesome to have Earl Sinclair, the father of the early 90’s TV sitcom ‘Dinosaurs’, rap Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Hypnotize’. The mashup is quite the video, and has amassed over 3 million views in a few short days.
