Jimmy Fallon imagines how The Beatles would have leveraged social TV

beatlesThis month marks the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ first appearance on the ‘Ed Sullivan Show.’ On last night’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ Fallon imagined how The Beatles would have addressed the crowd following the performance if social media existed in 1964.

As John Lennon, Fallon first reminds the crowd to “like us on Facebook!” before providing them with a Twitter handle: @TheRealBeatlesUK. Of course, The Beatles also had partnership deals with Sprite and Red Bull. Watch as Lennon seamlessly references activations on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine:
