So far, 1600 Penn, NBC’s answer to Modern Family, has received very mixed reviews (Metacritic currently has it at a 55 out of 100). NBC released the pilot of 1600 Penn back in December, and Networked Insights (NI) has been able to capture the social reaction to the show in the month leading up to the national premiere. While fans are drawn in by the show’s strong cast, they have been balking at the comparison to Modern Family. Here are the highlights from NI’s report.
