Technology & Engineering Emmy Award Winners Include Second Screen Pioneers

emmy-awardWhile the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences made the announcement back in early August, today the winners of the 66th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards will be honored at CES.

Among the winners are second screen and social TV stalwarts Twitter, Spredfast, Roku, and Tivo.

And the award for the award that most needs a renaming goes to …”Pioneering Development of 2nd Screen Navigable Mosaic for Direct Programmer Offerings to Consumers via the Internet.” (The winners, as you’ll see below, are rightly HBO and Netflix).
