Social TV Company Applicaster Raises $10.5 Million in Series B Funding Round

Applicaster today announced that it has raised $10.5 million in a Series B funding round, led by Pitango Venture Capital; this brings the company’s total funding to $18.5 million.

In 2014 we covered Applicaster’s partnership with FremantleMedia on a ‘Master Athletes’ app, with MediaCorp on ‘Toggle Now TV,’ a World Cup app for MegaFon, and an app for Mediaset Espana for the Spanish version of ‘Survivor,’ to name a few. In addition to these companies, Applicaster has also provided  app solutions for Univision, Endemol, Talpa, Televisa, Telefe, and Fox International,
