Social Scoreboard: Week of July 20

The premiere of I Am Cait last night drove 1,000 tweets just minutes after it started, according to Nielsen Social. But that’s nothing compared to the 11,000 tweets sent out at the end of Sharknado, when a cliffhanger hinted at yet another installment. Here’s the full breakdown:

  • 11,400 Tweets were sent at 11:05 pm EST on Wednesday, 7/22/15 about Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! after the movie ended in a cliffhanger with the announcement that fans could vote on April’s fate and learn the outcome in Sharknado 4.
  • 1,000 Tweets were sent at 8:02 pm EST on Sunday, 7/26/15 about I Am Cait at the start of the program.
  •  1,100 Tweets were sent at 8:20 pm EST on Monday, 7/20/15 about The Bachelorette following Ian’s apology to his fellow bachelors.
