Showtime just renewed hit shows “House of Lies” and “Shameless” for fourth and fifth seasons, and announced today that Showtime Anytime, the network’s second-screen on-demand app, is now available on streaming device Roku.
Showtime subscribers can now stream the network’s shows, movies, comedy specials, documentaries, and sports specials on their Roku player, which connects to home networks wirelessly, taking content from the Internet and connecting it to TV’s.
Roku side CEO Anthony Wood says the company sold 8 million players last year.
