ESPN is out with its new SportsCenter app for iOS and Android with aims of offering fans their most personalized second screen sports experience yet.
The app is an enhancement from the previous ScoreCenter app, and offers users the ability to focus updates and content on the teams they love: just enter in the teams you’d like to receive updates on, and your team’s results appears at the top of your score feed in addition to targeted news and videos about your team under the favorites tab.
Overall sports news is also a big feature, as news and videos about various leagues can be found under the news tab, as viewers can watch videos on the same page as the story they’re reading.
Social interaction also plays a part, as the now tab brings up all the real-time tweets from both players and on-air sports talent.
