Scoreboard: Week of Feb. 22

This is probably the last time we’ll have as many award shows on the weekly Nielsen Social ratings. The Oscars topped the week last night with 7,220,000 tweets seen by 12,910,000 people. The CNN Republican Presidential Debate was in the second spot. Events like the Brit Awards, the CNN Democratic Presidential Town Hall, and hometown dates on the Bachelor filled out the week. Here are some other highlights:

Most-Tweeted Minutes from the Top 3 Series and Specials:

  • 175,100 tweets were sent at 11:56 p.m. ET on Sunday about The Oscars after Leonardo DiCaprio won the Oscar for best actor.
  • 21,300 tweets were sent at 9:40 p.m. ET on Thursday about the CNN Republican Presidential Debate after Marco Rubio claimed that Donald Trump repeats himself.
  • 2,500 tweets were sent at 9:55 p.m. ET on Monday about The Bachelor after Ben Higgins sent Amanda Stanton home.
