If you didn’t watch the shocking ABC “Revenge” season three finale last night– spoiler alert.
For those fans that did, it was shock after shock, with the ultimate bang-your-head-at-the-TV moment coming at the end, when the dead father Amanda Clark has been avenging for years, David Clark, was revealed to be very much alive, with his revival coming as he killed the man who framed him for terrorism 20 years prior, the murderous, but love-to-hate-him Conrad Grayson.
And a more beloved character was also killed off–Amanda Clark’s partner-in-crime, and lover, Aiden Mathis was murdered by Victoria Grayson, who in the last moments of the finale, found herself strapped to a bed…in a insane asylum.
The buildup to the finale, and the twists and turns during, paid off on social. “Revenge” ranked #4 on Nielsen Social’s top five list for Sunday: 46,000 people tweeted about the show, with those tweets being seen by 748,000 people.
And Today, the @Revenge Twitter handle tweeted out an opportunity for fans to send their condolences to the fallen characters.
