Prince Andrew: Banished and 2 Other Trailers You Missed

Today’s trailer roundup includes Prince Andrew: Banished, Netflix’s Descendant and Barbarians: Season 2.

Prince Andrew: Banished comes to Peacock on Oct. 5. The documentary unpacks the story of how Prince Andrew brought scandal and disgrace to the British Royal Family. Through new interviews with palace insiders, journalists, members of Andrew’s social circle and the legal team that brought the allegations to light, the documentary takes a deep dive into the world of privilege, jealousy, desire and greed.

Descendant premieres on Netflix on Oct. 21. Documentary filmmaker Margaret Brown (The Order of Myths, The Great Invisible) returns to her hometown of Mobile, Alabama, to document the search for and historic discovery of The Clotilda, the last known ship to arrive in the United States, illegally carrying enslaved Africans. After a century of secrecy and speculation, the 2019 discovery of the ship turns attention toward the descendant community of Africatown and presents a moving portrait of a community actively grappling with and fighting to preserve their heritage while examining what justice looks like today.

Barbarians Season 2 drops on Oct. 21st. Season 2 continues the brutal battle between the Germans and the Roman Empire during the ninth century. The cast includes Jeanne Goursaud, Laurence Rupp, David Schütter and Daniel Donskoy.
