Shoot videotape in field, newsroom and studio; collect information
and sound-bites at the scene of news, and sports events; edit news
stories on deadline in the newsroom and in the field; operate
audio/video/microwave equipment for remotes; and maintain assigned
equipment. Candidates must demonstrate skill in video tape
photography and editing on deadline. Candidates must have a strong
interest in sports and must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Candidates must also be able to communicate clearly and deal
effectively and politely with the public. They must provide a copy
of their 3-year MVR report, and have at least two years experience as
a photographer in the news department of a commercial TV station.
