Ahead of the Wednesday March 30 premiere of Oxygen’s Quit Your Day Job, the network will be hosting a live Facebook event with one of the series’ lead investors Randi Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg will be interviewing the newest In Progress 52 inductees, Payal Kadakia, CEO of ClassPass.
In Progress 52 is an initiative from the network to celebrate “young women who are pushing boundaries and breaking illusions” about what it means to be a woman. In Progress 52 features a female entrepreneur each week, for a year.
Today’s event is being held in part to drive tune-in for the network’s newest series, Quit Your Day Job, and also to promote the In Progress 52 campaign. The interview, which ties into Wednesday’s series premiere, will take place on Zuckerberg’s personal Facebook page and make good use of the new livestreaming feature offered from the social network. In addition to the livestream, Oxygen will make additional content from Zuckerberg and Kadakia on their website.
The stream goes live at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
