NBC’s Vivian Schiller to keynote Lost Remote Show in NYC

By Cory Bergman

I’m excited to announce that NBC News SVP and Chief Digital Officer Vivian Schiller will be a keynote speaker at Lost Remote’s first-ever event in April. She heads up the network’s presence on the web, mobile/devices and social media spanning brands like NBCNews.com, TODAY.com, Nightly News and iVillage.

Vivian also oversees Breaking News, the mobile-first startup where I work. After seeing NBC News’ growing slate of social TV initiatives, I invited her to the Lost Remote Show to talk about the future of social TV in journalism. She’ll discuss the newly-expanded NBC News Digital team and how it blends social with TV — including the network’s partnership with Zeebox — as well as take questions from the audience.

Vivian’s background is a unique mix of TV, digital and radio. Prior to NBC, Vivian was president and CEO of NPR, SVP and GM of NYTimes.com, SVP and GM of the Discovery Times Channel and the head of CNN Productions.
