This week, Survivor returned with its most interactive season yet. Throughout the Survivor Blood vs. Water season – a version of the show that will pit former Survivor cast members against their families – fans will be able to use the CBS App for iOS to watch full episodes and the after show. More, whether fans are watching live or catching up on their DVR, they will be to synch the app with the episode they’re watching to access the second-screen experience. Fans will be able to catch-up on full episodes on the CBS App for iOS, eight days after the initial broadcast and the next-day on CBS.com.

Survivor is invested in providing a rich second screen experience and has enlisted the show’s producers to curate and create the content that will be featured on the app. The experience will be tailored to each new episode and will offer information on the castaways and the challenges, along with photos, videos, and quizzes. It will also allow fans to easily follow and join the social conversation around the show.

“Our goal is to bring Survivor fans even closer to the game this season,” said Rob Gelick, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Digital Platforms, Entertainment at CBS Interactive. “With the Survivor synced second-screen experience and the return of the Survivor After Show, we’re giving fans the opportunity to dive deeper into the strategies the castaways will use to try to outwit, outplay and outlast one another.”
