Spacey OscarsAs we’ve reported, Netflix’s hit show “House of Cards” does not rest on its laurels while the show is off—which it uniquely never is as compared to traditional TV shows.

And show star Kevin Spacey brought out his alter-ego out Frank Underwood during his presentation at the Oscars last night.

“And I sing because it’s so nice to be out of Washington and here with all my Hollywood friends,” Spacey started his Oscars introduction with in his best southern accent to a rousing applause.

The out of Washington line was in reference to his “House of Cards” character Underwood, who is a D.C. politician climbing the ladder of power while taking down anyone who stands in his way.

Spacey was also busy photobombing the now-Twitter record retweeted selfie with Ellen Degeneres and pretty much of all of Hollywood’s stars.
