Highlights from Day 1 of BroadbandTVcon

By Adam Flomenbaum

broadbandtvcon-83The 5th annual BroadbandTVcon is taking place right now in Santa Clara, CA, and boasts an impressive roster of social TV companies and speakers there to talk about the future of second screen, augmented TV, and TV Everywhere. Piksel and Brightcove are Gold Sponsors and Eric Berger, Sony Pictures Television’s Executive Vice President of Digital Networks, and Roy Sekoff, President and Co-Creator of HuffPost Live, are the keynote speakers.

While Lost Remote could not be in attendance, we have been following the conversation closely on Twitter. You can follow along via the #bbtvcon hashtag, and here’s what some of the attendees are talking about on Day 1:

Doug Craig, VP Programming Roku: 25% channels are religious, but <1% of viewing. #bbtvcon
