‘Girls’ star Evan Jonigkeit on ‘Winnebago Man’ and his use of social media

evanjThis past week’s episode of Girls (minor spoiler alert coming) shows  Zosia Mamet’s (Shoshana) real life boyfriend Evan Jonigkeit playing Parker, her latest fling on the hit HBO show. Jonigkeit a rising star, spoke with Lost Remote at the Girls premiere earlier this year. He spoke about his use of Twitter, his favorite YouTube video and more. Here are the details.

Jonigkeit (@Johnakite on Twitter) is an up and coming star in Hollywood and in addition to Girls has the role of Toad in the 2014 summer blockbuster “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” Just last month, Jonigkeit wrapped up a role on Broadway starring opposite Tony® and Emmy® award winner Mary-Louise Parker as her older son Duncan Gaesling in “The Snow Geese.” A Philadelphia native, Evan made his Broadway debut in 2011 in “High” with Kathleen Turner for which he received an Outer Critics Circle Nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play. Since then, Jonigkeit has been featured in Off-Broadway plays including Harrison TX (Primary Stages), and most recently, Jonigkeit co-starred in the popular Off-Broadway show Really, Really (MCC).

When asked what his favorite YouTube video was he smartly picked Winnebago Man, a hilarious clip with millions of views of  outtakes for a Winnebago promotional video. Here’s the full interview.
