Before HBO’s “Game of Thrones” season four premieres Sunday, the network is launching a marathon on its HBO2 channel to give fans a chance to relive the show to date.
Beginning on Friday, April 4 at 9amET, all three seasons of the hit show will air. HBO is also creating an online companion, “Game of Thrones Viewer’s Guide,” which will feature exclusive content for every episode of the series. Fans can access the guide on HBO’s website, tablet, and mobile platforms.
The guide will have a fully-responsive design featuring interactive maps of fictional continents Westeros and Essos. There will also be character bios from every season and a “Guide to the Houses.”
Also featured will be episodic videos that go further into the story, specifically an “Inside the Episode” feature with series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Viewers can also watch interviews with cast members, and videos explaining how the show achieves its unique look.
