If the social buzz around season two was palpable, then the excitement leading up to the season three premiere of Game of Thrones has reached new heights. To capitalize on this, and to further advance the fantasy series and the genre as a whole into the mainstream, HBO and its international partners will be taking Game of Thrones on the road in the form of a touring exhibition.
Over the course of three months, the traveling exhibit – the first such activation HBO has ever produced – will bring the world of Westeros to fans in five cities: Toronto, New York, Sao Paulo, Amsterdam, and Belfast. The immersive tour will be free to the public and will focus on the main characters from the five of the noble houses (Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, Baratheon and Greyjoy). The tour will feature original props and selected items from seasons 1 and 2, and from the upcoming season, which will premiere on March 31. HBO has also brought the iconic Iron Throne to the convention center in Austin for SXSW.

Via the release, the exhibit will include:
Costumes, props, armor and weapons– Artisans, whose superb craftsmanship has provided authenticity to the medieval world of the show, worked closely with HBO to curate the exhibit with items including: an impressive costume display overseen by the show’s costume designer Michele Clapton who dressed the mannequins to ensure accuracy in the presentation of the extraordinarily detailed garments, iconic artifacts such as model dragons, weaponry (King Joffrey’s crossbow, daggers and swords such as “Ice” and “Longclaw”), armor (helmets, shields and full suits of armor worn by key characters in the show), crowns, jewelry, books and much more.
Blackwater Bay Interactive Experience – Fans will get an opportunity to participate in an exciting interactive experience that will place them amid the action of the epic battle of Blackwater Bay from season 2.
Iron Throne – Fit for any king or queen, fans will be able to take their photo on a precise replica of the iron throne from the series.
