EXCLUSIVE: CBS and Victoria’s Secret Bringing Second Screen to The Runway

By Jordan Chariton

CBS Interactive and Victoria’s Secret are bringing the second screen onto The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway.

The two are partnering on a custom synced experience in the CBS iOS App for tonight’s show that will give users information on the runway models, their outfits, and the musical guests performing.

“Engagement on the second-screen is now an established behavior for fans,” Rob Gelick, SVP and GM of CBS Interactive Digital Platforms tells Lost Remote. “We’re finding synced experiences to be a natural extension of the story-telling process.”

Users will have unprecedented access to this year’s Angels.

“The models are obviously a critical component of the show and we’ve worked with Victoria’s Secret to fill the synced experience with insider information,” Gelick said. “Everything from the Angel’s show experience, to the wings and glam squad that help bring the show to life.”

The special will also be available on demand tomorrow on the CBS app, CBS.com, VictoriasSecret.com and select CBS partner sites. Fans will be able to go to CBS.com for photo galleries and show rehearsal clips.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs tonight at 10pmET on CBS.
