EXCLUSIVE: Bravo Launches New Digital Content Destinations

By Karen Fratti

bravo_logoBravo Media announced that it’s rolling out new content platforms on bravotv.com surrounding lifestyle themes like food, travel, design and relationships, modeled off the very successful pop culture blog The Daily Dish. The first to roll out today is The Feast.

The Feast will spotlight exotic foods, culinary destinations, profiles of international chefs, restaurants and more. Bravo and Top Chef social handles will pull content from the blog and solicit the best “food porn” images each week with a hashtag contest.

At the end of February, Jet Set, a second blog featuring aspirational travel content, will debut. So just in the dead of winter, readers can escape with Bravo. Like they always do (Real Housewives of anywhere, anyone?)

Lisa Hsia, executive vice president, Bravo and Oxygen Digital Media, says in a statement that the success of last year’s content initiatives inspired this new round:

With the success of The Daily Dish, we learned that Bravo’s audience has a craving for life outside the frame of their favorite Bravo shows. With the launch of these new lifestyle destinations on BravoTV.com, we aim to appeal to a broader audience of consumers, while also satisfying our viewers with an even deeper, digital experience.

In fact, last year was one of Bravo digital’s best. They had a 61 percent increase in visits across platforms year to year from 2014. A lot of that is because they’re driving viewers there with new things to engage with. In December alone, there were 12.1 million unique visitors to bravotv.com.

Now there’ll be even more for those visitors to do there.
