Canvs: 22% of Viewers Found It ‘Funny’ That Lebron Lost MVP Title

The reactions are in. We’ve had lots of roundups of the NBA Finals’ most social moments, but Canvs has how viewers were feeling. They told us:

True to form, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers was the most popular topic on Twitter during the game. Even though James didn’t win MVP, we measured more than 14,000 emotional reactions that mentioned both James and the MVP title. For the most part, reactions expressed that James deserved the title, with 31% saying they loved James even if he wasn’t MVP. There were some detractors, however. There were 22% of viewers who reacted to James and MVP that found it “funny” he didn’t win.
