'Breaking Bad' smashes last season's social and ratings records

AMC’s highly-anticipated season premiere of Breaking Bad last night set new records for the show. On the ratings front, it delivered 2.9 million viewers, up 14% over last year with a 34% increase in the 18-49 year-old demo. On the social front, in jumped 605% in social interactions over the prior season — 123,361 Facebook and Twitter comments, measured by Bluefin Labs.
