While an app store like the one we all know for iOS doesn’t yet exist for Apple TV, more and more TV content is becoming available on the popular internet TV device. A+E Networks recently became the latest network to offer content from A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime on Apple TV. Here are the details.
“We’re excited to deliver our hit programming from A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime to Apple TV users,” said Dan Suratt, Executive Vice President, Digital Media & Business Development, A+E Networks in their release. “With the response we’ve seen from our content on iOS devices and on iTunes, bringing A+E HD content to Apple TV is a natural evolution to satisfy our consumers’ demands and to provide our advertisers a new opportunity to partner with A+E Networks.”
You will of course need to prove you subscribe to a MSO to access the content. MacWorld reported that currently DirecTV, Verizon FiOS and Optimum are currently the options but that more will come.
