Apple’s iOS 5 software for iPhone, iPad, and iPod will use Twitter integration, the company announced an hour ago at its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. On the other side of the country, at New York City’s Internet Week, Twitter president of global revenue Adam Bain elaborated on what the announcement means for Twitter, Apple, and Android. Bain’s comments were made at Federated Media’s Conversational Marketing Summit.
The integration, which Bain described as “at the system level,” allows consumers on an iOS 5 device to tweet directly from any app.
