‘Worst Day Ever?’ Poem Goes Viral

By Maryann Yin

Not having a good day? Perhaps you may find some comfort in a poem called “Worst Day Ever?”

This moving poem caused a sensation in London after Ronnie Joice (whose tweet is embedded above) spotted it at a bar. The piece has since gone viral on the internet.

Here’s more from Today.com: “Seventeen-year-old Chanie Gorkin — a soon-to-be 12th grader in Brooklyn — wrote the poem last year and based its hopeful outlook on Hasidic philosophy. While her poem made it to the semi-final round of a contest on poetrynation.com, Chanie had no idea that her poem could ever reach so many people.” (via Mashable)
