The digital age is upon us, and now Disney needs a skilled candidate to take its books to a new level. The company is on the hunt for a senior digital editor to develop digital strategy for the Disney Book Group (Disney Press, Disney-Hyperion North America) and its licensed content through the global publishing program.
In this role, you’ll develop new digital book products from Disney’s catalog of existing content, working closely with the editorial, design and art departments, as well as the digital media and strategy teams. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the development of many multi-platform projects — a piece of cake for someone with your superior organizational skills.
To land this gig, you’ll need at least five years of children’s book editorial and/or children’s digital product development experience. You should have strong editorial vision and a great aesthetic, and be able to see the big picture without missing a single detail. Team players and born leaders should apply here.
