Wolf of Wall Street Victim’s Daughter Lands Memoir Deal

galleryChristina McDowell has inked a memoir deal with Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books imprint. She is the daughter of a man who was victimized by the infamous “Wolf of Wall Street,” Jordan Belfort.

McDowell gained notoriety after she posted an open letter online attacking The Wolf of Wall Street film adaptation. She condemned “the hit Leonardo DiCaprio-Martin Scorsese film for glorifying Belfort’s crimes.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the book will be based on the topics discussed in her letter. The publisher plans to release the memoir in 2015.
