Profiles in History is auctioning a clothbound copy of The Wizard of Oz with a great backstory–it is signed by most of the actors and crew in the famous 1939 film adaptation of the novel.

The auction house estimates the book is worth between $40,000 and $60,000. The book was owned by Jack Haley Jr., the son of actor Jack Haley (who played the Tin Man in the film).

Here’s more from the description: “[Haley] brought this copy to the set and had the following sign it for his son, who was 5 years old at the time: cast members Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Jack Haley, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Margaret Hamilton, Billie Burke, Toto (footprint, with trainer Jack Weatherwax signature).” (Via Jacket Copy)

The book was originally titled The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, written by L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow. The title was shortened to The Wizard of Oz, spawining stage and movie adaptations.
