Random House’s Crown imprint will publish Inside Wikileaks: My Time with Julian Assange at the World’s Most Dangerous Website, a memoir by former WikiLeaks spokesperson Daniel Domscheit-Berg.

Crown acquired world rights to the book, and U.S. publication is set for February 15, 2011. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange himself landed a book deal earlier this week. Follow this link to read more.

Here’s more about the author: “Under the pseudonym Daniel Schmitt, Mr. Domscheit-Berg was the effective No. 2 at Wikileaks and the organization’s most public face after Julian Assange. In his book, he will reveal the evolution, finances, and inner tensions of the whistleblower organization, beginning with his first meeting with Assange in December 2007 at the Chaos Computer Club in Berlin. He will also describe the circumstances that lead to his withdrawal from Wikileaks in September, 2010, including his disenchantment with the organization’s lack of transparency, its abandonment of political neutrality, and the increasing concentration of power by Assange.”
