‘When a Man Tells Me I’m Beautiful’ Poem Goes Viral

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Kataria explained that she was inspired to write this poem after going on a movie date. After posting the piece online, it has drawn more than 34,000 “likes” on Facebook. Here’s an excerpt:

“When a man tells me
I’m beautiful
I don’t believe him.
Instead, I relive my days in high school
When no matter how good I was
I was always the girl with a moustache”
