In November, HarperCollins Children’s Division will launch a Vampire Diaries spin-off book series entitled Stefan’s Diaries.
The Stefan’s Diaries trilogy will serve as a prequel to L.J. Smith’s original Vampire Diaries novels and the Alloy Entertainment television series. Both chronicle the supernatural adventures of Elena Gilbert.
The prequel will follow Stefan Salvatore, a vampire feuding with his older brother. Stefan’s Diaries #1: Origins will explain the detailed story behind the animosity. Hint: it has something to do with a girl.
